video guide our video will guide you through the zen link™ setup process for use on a ps5® console in just over three minutes written guide update your ps5 ® and controller ensure your console and supported controller have the latest firmware installed for playstation 5 ® set your ps5® to "communication method > use usb cable" name your ps5® in its "console information" section ensure your ps5® is on the same network as your setup pc you can use a wired (preferred) or wireless internet connection for your ps5® 🔗 ps5 ® console settings the first thing you must do is apply the following settings on your ps5 ® console 👇 to access the ps5 settings menu, click the ⚙️ icon (top right of screen) , then enable remote play system > remote play > enable remote play console sharing users and accounts > other > console sharing and offline play > enable usb cable accessories > controllers > communication > use usb cable vibration intensity settings accessories > controllers > vibration intensity > strong (standard) accessories > controllers > trigger effect intensity > strong (standard) dualsense edge these settings can be found in the default profile 1 power saving system > power saving > set time until controllers turn off > don't turn off system > power saving > features available in rest mode > supply power to usb ports > always system > power saving > features available in rest mode > enable turning on ps5 from network disable auto updates system > system software > system software update and settings > disable both download update files automatically and install update files automatically disable auto updates (rest mode) system > power saving > features available in rest mode > disable stay connected to the internet 🔗 setup remote play on pc to set up remote play on a windows pc, follow the detailed instructions provided at the link here once you've completed the setup and connected to your ps5® console, you can simply close the remote play application as you (likely) won't be needing it again the ps remote play app must be run on your pc, logged in, and successfully connected to your ps5® console at least once, before attempting to run the one time initial setup 👇 🔗 one time initial setup before starting the zen link™ one time initial setup, make your windows pc is connected to a 2 4ghz wi fi network (do not use a wired network cable) this setup is typically a one time process and will only need to be refreshed if you change your network settings or psn® profile note many wi fi routers combine 2 4ghz and 5ghz networks under the same credentials do not do not remove the device, and wait until the firmware update is confirmed as completed you check the status bar for progress double click on zenlinkconfigurator exe file download here https //cdn shopify com/s/files/1/0301/9790/7501/files/zenlinkconfigurator exe?v=1724262455 👈 click ' read settings from windows ' ensure it is the 2 2 4ghz wi fi credentials click ' load console data ' click ' save all to device ' click ' restart device ' after the restart, the leds should turn orange orange to confirm wi fi is connected the zen link™ firmware update will start, indicated by blinking blue leds blue leds do not do not remove the device, and wait until the firmware update is confirmed as completed you check the status bar for progress once the firmware update is completed, the leds will turn back to orange orange zen link™ has now restarted in zen mode and disconnected from the zen configurator it is ready for use! note note if unplugged and plugged back in, a cyan led cyan led will be briefly shown to confirm it is ready for use as your zen link™ is now configured with your 2 4ghz 2 4ghz wi fi credentials, it no longer needs your pc to connect you can return your pc to its usual way of connecting to the internet, whether that is a wired connection or 5ghz wi fi, etc 🔗 use on ps5® console the one time initial setup must be completed before proceeding plug the zen link™ into the a1 usb port (left side) of the cronus zen™ wait for the leds to remain green green connect your dualsense controller directly to the ps5 console you can now use your cronus zen™ on your ps5® console with full functionality 🙂 🔗 dualsense edge curve if you are using a dualsense edge controller, you must change the built in right stick sensitivity/deadzone settings to default or it will break anti recoil in most gamepacks and scripts go to settings > accessories select dualsense edge wireless controller > custom profiles select create custom profile , call it ' apex beam2 0 ', then select ok select the profile you created and right stick sensitivity curve default curve adjustment 0 deadzone adjustment 0% charlie\@cronusmax com ensuring an optimal experience having completed the "one time" initial setup, you are ready to play on your ps5® console zen link™ provides a responsive experience with a controller polling rate of up to 500hz (2ms) in a best case scenario, although gamepack actual polling/"vmspeed" varies from pack to pack due to cpu load needs, with some packs allowing you to set it there are even beam® gamepacks specifically designed for zen link™ however, this is not the only factor to ensure responsive controls, set yourself up for a strong connection zen link™ must be within reasonable range of your wireless router/modem to ensure smooth operation; otherwise lag & disconnecting may occur you should know from your nearby wi fi devices if you have a decent signal strength zen link™ uses similar technology to playstation® portal and is subject to the same restrictions minimize high bandwidth devices & apps like netflix® running on your network while playing if your internet is unstable or your network is prone to dropping out, it will affect zen link™ connect your ps5® via wired internet if possible ps5® puts out hot air near its ethernet connection port, so if you see instances of it dropping out, use a higher quality cable remote play will disconnect from zen link™ if your controller is idle if you are experiencing lag or disconnecting, try the "use 40mhz bandwidth" checkmark in the zenlinkconfigurator
