Cronus Zen supports all features of the DualSense® & DualSense Edge® controllers (USB).
Bluetooth Support
In case you are confused regarding how can the DualSense® connect via Bluetooth if it is disabled on the PS5. The answer is simple, it pairs to the Cronus Zen, not to the PS5. The Zen is always connected by USB cable, so anything you pair to the Zen by Bluetooth is actually connected to the PS5 via USB through the Cronus Zen.

Controller Model | USB | BLUETOOTH |
---|---|---|
DualSense® (CFI-ZCT1W) | YES | YES* |
DualSense® Edge (CFI-ZCP1) | YES | YES* |
*Bluetooth does not support Adaptive Triggers, Rumbles, Gyroscope, or Mic, so it cannot support the features of this GamePack. The controller must be connected to the Cronus Zen with a high-quality USB-C gaming cable.
DualSense® Features (PS5/PC) | USB | BLUETOOTH |
---|---|---|
Adaptive Triggers | YES | NO |
Haptic Feedback | YES | NO |
Two Finger/Swipe Touchpad | YES | YES |

Here are the steps for setting up a DualSense® controller to a PlayStation® 5 using Zen.
- Connect a DualSense® Controller directly to the PS5 (No Zen needed yet).
- Go to Settings > Accessories > Turn Off Accessories > Select the DualSense® so that it turns off.
- Unplug the DualSense® from the PS5 and connect it to Zen's A1 USB port.
- Connect the Zen to the PS5 from its rear CONSOLE/PC USB port and wait for 10 secs.
- NOTE: If you are using a DualSense Edge®, a normal DualSense® must be connected to A1, and the DualSense Edge® then connects to USB ports A2 or A3.
- MK OPTIONAL: If you wish to play with a different controller or Mouse & Keyboard, connect them to A2 or A3, with a normal DualSense® connected to A1.

- Connect Cronus Zen to your Windows PC using the PROG USB port.
- Open Zen Studio .
- Navigate to the Device tab.
- Set the Output Protocol to AUTO.
- That's it! You must now unplug the PROG USB cable from the Zen.

It's crucial to set the Cronus ZEN to "AUTO" Protocol Output for optimal performance; otherwise, the GamePack won't function properly.

Disabling Steam Input for APEX
Follow these short instructions and refer to the accompanying pictures for assistance:
- Go to the Steam Library:
- Open your Steam application and navigate to your game library.
- Right Click APEX:
- Find APEX in your game list.
- Right-click on APEX.
- Click Properties:
- From the dropdown menu, click on "Properties".

- A New Window Opens:
- A new window will pop up with the properties of APEX Legends.
- Click Controller on the Left Side:
- In the properties window, select "Controller" from the left-hand side menu.
- Disable Steam Input:
- Where it says "Override for APEX Legends," select "Disable Steam Input" from the dropdown menu.

It's crucial to set the Cronus ZEN to "AUTO" Protocol Output and disable Steam Input for optimal performance; otherwise, the GamePack won't function properly.
When you have trouble finding "Vibration" in the in-game menu, it's because APEX on PC does not display the "Vibration" option if you enter the menu with a controller. Use a mouse instead to see the "Vibration" option.

It's crucial to set "Vibration" to "Default" and "Adaptive Triggers" to "ON"; otherwise, the GamePack won't function properly.
