Aim Abuse
Aim Abuse is a technique used in many single player FPS games such as Back 4 Blood, and in some multiplayer games like Battlefield (see the Battlefield Bonanza GamePack for a great example).
The Aim Abuse MACRO (aka MOD), can quickly and accurately lock onto targets, reducing the time and effort needed to aim, and allowing players to focus on other elements of the game, such as tactical decision-making and map awareness.
The MOD works by making the weapon rapidly aim down sights (ADS) in and out to trigger the 'Rotational Aim Assist' or 'Snap Aim Assist' in-game feature. This is done because using ADS close to an enemy can cause the game to recenter the crosshair, and the MOD triggers recentering the crosshair over, and over again.
Tip: When using Aim Abuse, it's important to have the right ADS timing. If the timing is set too low, it may not activate the recentering effect. To avoid this, it's recommended that you set the timing to 250ms hold, and 50ms release.
The most notable benefits of the Aim Abuse MOD include:
- Increased Precision: Aim Abuse allows players to quickly and accurately trigger the in-game Snap Aim Assist, resulting in more accurate shots.
- Faster Targeting: The rapid zooming in and out of the weapon helps players to target their enemies more quickly.
- Effortless Aiming: Aim Abuse takes the manual effort out of aiming, allowing players to focus on other aspects of the game.
- Improved Chances of Winning: By providing a faster and more precise method of aiming, players increase their chances of winning the game.
- Eased Gameplay: Aim Abuse makes the gameplay experience easier and less stressful for players.
- Cronus Advantage: By having the advantage of Cronus Zen, players can feel more confident in their abilities and play more aggressively, leading to more wins.
To put it simply, the Aim Abuse MOD can enhance your gameplay by providing automatic aiming assistance in fast-paced and high-pressure situations. This MOD can help increase your chances of hitting targets, especially when aiming with a controller which can be less precise than a mouse and keyboard. It can also reduce the time it takes for you to aim and react to incoming targets, making the gameplay experience more enjoyable.
🖱️ MOUSE & AIM ABUSE
When using a mouse, especially on a console, players have more control over the movement and accuracy, and therefore usually do not need the additional help provided by the Aim Abuse MOD, which could in fact have the reverse effect by making it more difficult to aim.
It is important to remember that the in-game Aim Assist settings needs to be enabled for this MOD to work. For example, in Battlefield 2042 the in-game setting is called 'Solder Aim Assist Zoom Snap'.
This is what the source code of an Aim Abuse MACRO (aka MOD) looks like. Note that all button labels match their corresponding buttons on other controllers. For example, if the script says XB1_LT (Left Trigger), it will also press the PS4_L2 (Left Trigger) on a PlayStation controller.
Keep in mind that while using the Aim Abuse MOD can give you an edge, it's not a magic solution and still requires practice and skill to use effectively, but once you get the hang of it, it can give you a significant advantage.
Additionally, the Aim Abuse MOD may not be useful in all game modes or maps, so it's important to understand the context of the game and when any specific MOD can be used effectively.
💩 AIMBOTS
An AimBot is often confused with the Aim Abuse MOD, but they couldn't be more different.
An AimBot is a PC-restricted tool that illegally hacks the game's code, allowing the user to automatically, and lock onto the enemy's head or body. This gives the player an unnatural advantage in terms of accuracy and reaction time, making it nearly impossible for other players to compete.
Due to the unnatural behavior of using an AimBot, there is an extremely high risk of being banned.
The use of an AimBot is considered illegal due to hacking the actual code of a PC video game (no console support). They do not work with, nor are they supported by the Cronus Zen device.
