Drop Shot

The Drop Shot MACRO (aka MOD), is a classic technique used in FPS games that allows players to prone, aim, and instantly fire while still in the prone position, all in one smooth motion.

The MOD works by automatically pressing and holding the crouch button as soon as you press the fire trigger. This takes advantage of the low profile of lying on the ground to quickly repositioning yourself upright to take out an enemy before they can react.

The most notable benefits of the Drop Shot MOD include:

  1. Improved Aim: By quickly dropping to the ground when firing, players are able to take advantage of the lower profile offered by the ground and improve their aim.
  2. Better Survival Rate: By dropping to the ground when fired upon, players are able to avoid enemy fire and increase their chances of survival.
  3. More Unpredictable Movement: The Drop Shot MOD makes players' movements more unpredictable, making it harder for enemies to aim and fire effectively.
  4. Cronus Advantage: By having the advantage of Cronus Zen, players can feel more confident in their abilities and play more aggressively, leading to more wins.

To put it simply, using the Drop Shot MOD can enhance your gameplay by allowing you to quickly reposition yourself in a fight, taking advantage of the low profile of lying on the ground to quickly aim and shoot at an enemy. It can also be used to surprise enemies and take them out before they can react.

Sometimes Drop Shot is confused with the Crouch Shot MOD, but they are slightly different. Crouch shot quickly alternates between crouching and standing positions while firing. Drop Shot on the other hand quickly goes prone, aims and fires while remaining in the prone position, all in one smooth motion.

⚙️ GPC SCRIPT EXAMPLE

This is what the source code of a Drop Shot MACRO (aka MOD) looks like. Note that all button labels match their corresponding buttons on other controllers. For example, if the script says XB1_RS (Right Analog Stick), it will also press the Right Analog Stick (R3) on a PlayStation controller.

  • ON FIRE: The MOD is activated instantly as soon as you pull the Fire trigger. The ADS trigger is ignored.
  • ADS & FIRE: The MOD is activated as soon as you pull the Fire & ADS triggers together.
  • FIRE ONLY: The MOD is activated instantly as soon as you pull the Fire trigger. Pulling the ADS trigger will block the MOD completely.
