However...

Yes, Cronus Zen can be used on PC, but we cannot officially offer any support for it.

What You Need to Know

๏ปฟ

While we do offer guidance on setting up Zen to game on a Windows PC, it's essential to know our primary development focus is on consoles, such as the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. Why? Due to the diverse range of motherboards in PCs, Zen can behave differently across computer specifications, particularly when it comes to power.

A recent example was the AMD AGESA V2 bios causing USB ports to randomly disconnect. Many users returned their Zen devices thinking they were faulty, only to discover the issue lay with the motherboard. These types of issues can consume significant resources, detracting from our primary console support.

Furthermore, some PC games now detect and may block or penalize the use of third-party devices like ours. It's always in your best interest to read the EULA before using any third-party devices.

๐Ÿšซ Important

Every setting on this page for the PC must be applied before using the GamePack. If you fail to match ANY of these settings, the GamePack WILL NOT WORK!

Also make sure the DualSenseยฎ controller is fully charged when using with Cronus Zen as there's not enough power to charge (this can be resolved by using the powered Cronus MK USB Switch).

Here are the steps for setting up a DualSense controller to a Windows PC using Zen.

  1. ๏ปฟIMPORTANT: Unplug the PROG USB cable from the Zen.
  2. Connect a DualSense or DualSense Edge Controller to Zen's A1 USB port.
  3. Connect the Zen to the PC from its rear CONSOLE/PC USB port.
  4. That's it! ๐Ÿ™‚

๐Ÿ”ถ In-Game Settings

๏ปฟ

If these in-game settings are not applied, the Apex BEAM2.0 GamePack will not function correctly.

  1. Set the in-game Vibration to Default
  2. Set Adaptive Triggers to ON.

If you cannot find the vibration option, it is because the Zen is detected as a controller. To resolve this, connect a mouse directly to your PC and the Vibration option will appear. Once enabled you can go back to using your controller.

You are now ready to start gaming with the latest Cronus Zen GamePacks!
