In-Game Settings
This is a list of every in-game setting that you need to match before using the GamePack. Skip this page at your peril because it will cause every MOD to fail, giving you headaches instead of wins.
All default button layout presets are available in this GamePack, and any custom layout you may be using. See Menu Options below for the complete list.
💡INFO: We recommend playing with a Custom layout, as you don't have to move your thumb off the AIM stick to press the crouch button by swapping Quick Marker and Crouch.

This MOD will swap LT/L2 for LB/L1 and swap RT/R2 for RB/R1 allowing you to aim down sights and fire with the bumpers versus triggers for faster firing and aiming down sights.

Match this setting to both the In-Game options Invert X-Axis and Invert Y-Axis. This setting is vital for Anti-Recoil to properly function. Failure to match this setting will cause Anti-Recoil to go in the opposite direction than intended.

None | Default |
X-Axis | Invert the X-Axis only |
Y-Axis | Invert the Y-Axis only |
Both | Invert both the X-Axis and Y-Axis |
When enabled, it will swap the Left Analog stick inputs for the Right analog stick inputs allowing for an alternative analog stick control method.
The Deadzone is an invisible circle around the center of your analog stick where any movement you make doesn't impact the game. This handy feature exists mainly because, over time, analog sticks can become a bit faulty due to wear and tear. This sometimes results in a frustrating issue called 'stick drift,' where your aim shifts even though you're not moving the stick. The GamePack supports a deadzone value between 0 and 25. We recommend a value of 5 for both analog sticks.
🕹️ STICK DRIFT
There's a sinking feeling that's the worst when your controller starts acting on its own. Stick drift, where the analog sticks register input without your touch, has been a major issue for players in recent years.
But don't worry, deadzone settings offer a solution to address stick drift without having to replace your analog sticks.
If your controller is experiencing stick drift or if you prefer greater control over speed, we recommend setting the Left Stick Deadzone to '5', Right Stick Deadzone to '5', with a Sensitivity range of 25 (2.5 In-Game) - 50 (5.0 In-Game) for Over the Shoulder Aiming and all ADS Sensitivities (1x, 2x, 3x, 4x, 6x, 8x and 15x). This setting maintains responsiveness while effectively minimizing most instances of stick drift.
On the other hand, if your analog sticks are perfectly calibrated or you want a highly responsive character that detects even the slightest joystick movement, you can try setting a stick Deadzone to '0'. Just keep in mind that you might need to fine-tune Look Sensitivity and the Weapon's XY values for optimal results.

MODS such as Anti-Recoil are designed and tested around the REQUIRED In-Game requirements. Deviating from the settings below may cause MODS to not perform at their best.
- Vibration: Enabled
- Vibration Strength: 10
- Field of View: 90
- Aim Acceleration: Disabled
- Aim Acceleration Rate: 0
This refers to your ADS Sensitivity (Look Sensitivity ADS in-game), which controls how fast your character turns or aims while Aiming Down Sights (ADS). You can set this anywhere from 0.0 (slowest) to 20.0 (fastest). A value between 25 (2.5 In-Game) and 50 (5.0 In-Game) is recommended for most users as this offers a good balance of steady aim and the ability to stay on target.
High sensitivity means quicker turning which is great for tracking fast-moving targets. Lower sensitivity, on the other hand, offers more control and precision, but with a slower turning speed - ideal for maintaining steady aim or using snipers.
Aim Acceleration and Aim Acceleration settings are currently not supported in the GamePack though future support is planned. It is recommended to not use these settings as it can cause Anti-Recoil to incorrectly compensate. If you do use these settings it is very likely you will need to adjust both the base and attachment recoil of your weapons (This is covered later in the guide).
This option blocks all physical rumble signals sent from the game. However, it still allows the GamePack to read the digital rumble digital signals which are essential for the correct function of this GamePack.
💡INFO: The in-game controller vibration option must ALWAYS be enabled, even if you don't like rumble. The GamePack option will enable or disable whether the physical rumbles can be felt on the controller.

Disabled | Controller WILL receive rumbles. |
Enabled | Controller WILL NOT receive rumbles. |
Base Anti-Recoil is optimized using weapons without attachments.
The [BEAM] GamePack Anti-Recoil MOD allows you to select Attachments for Anti-Recoil MOD through the GamePack menu. The supported attachments include Foregrip, Muzzle, Sight, and Stock. Matching attachments will automatically modify the recoil for your equipped weapon. In addition to this, you also have the ability to further customize the recoil of each attachment to compensate for Aim Acceleration if this setting is used.
Both Primary and Secondary weapons support up to 4 attachments. These attachments can either increase or decrease the recoil by a predetermined percentage for the selected weapon. For example, equipping an Angled Foregrip will increase horizontal recoil by approximately 20%. Then to set your attachment hold VIEW/TOUCHPAD + RB/R1 to set your attachments for your active weapons in the OLED menu. Each profile allows you to customize the Anti-Recoil MOD value. You have the flexibility to raise or lower the Anti-Recoil value for each weapon and attachment.
Attachment settings can be applied universally across all weapon profiles. For instance, given that the Angled Foregrip increases recoil by 20%, you can set Angled Foregrip to approximately "-6" if using an Aim Acceleration Rate of 0.6 and then this value would be used for the Angled Foregrip. This enables you to apply a customized value for the Angled Foregrip across all your Weapon Profiles. If an attachment is not working properly please provide the weapon in use along with all attachments in use for the weapon in use. In addition to this the Deadzone, ADS Sensitivities, and Aim Acceleration rate are also needed.
This isn't actually part of the in-game settings menu, but it gets missed sometimes as using attachments as part of the built-in game mechanics is a brand new feature, so it's here as a reminder that it's important to match the attachments you are using in-game with the GamePack.
