MOUSE & KEYBOARD
Step 2 - Import Game Profile

Two Week Battle Royale

Say goodbye to suboptimal controller setups and hello to precision, accuracy, and lightning-fast reaction times. Whether you're a seasoned gamer or a beginner, this expertly crafted Mouse and Keyboard (MK) profile will help take your skills to the next level.

Equipped with out-of-the-box presets, this MK profile offers a 1:1 PC-like experience, enabling you to dominate the competition in no time. Plus, you'll look way cooler doing it.

🐭In-House Mouse

Our favorite "In-House Mouse" is the Logitech G502, and is what we use as a baseline for all MK Game Profiles. If you prefer to use a different DPI, you will need to adjust the TUNING > SENSITIVITY in M&K Settings to compensate. A lower DPI will require a raised sensitivity while a higher dpi would benefit from a lower sensitivity.

When following this guide, we recommend setting the DPI of your mouse to 4000 (you can tune to a higher DPI once you've got this profile setup).

If playing on console it is recommended to set the Polling Rate to 250 and 1000 if playing on PC. If you prefer to use a different DPI, you will need to adjust the sensitivity in MK Settings to compensate for a different mouse DPI. A lower DPI will require a raised sensitivity while a high dpi would benefit from a lower sensitivity.

You can find out more when you get to Step 3 - Advanced Tuning.

Mouse: Logitech G502 DPI: 4,000 Polling: 250Hz (Xbox/PlayStation) or 1000Hz (Windows PC)

In-Game Settings

To get the best experience playing you will need to go into your In-Game "Controller Options" and set a few settings before playing. Using the following settings will allow for a 1:1 PC-like feel and allow quick movements.

Once in "Controller Options" match the following settings below to your In-Game settings.

  • Look Horizontal Speed - 100
  • Look Vertical Speed - 100
  • Turning Horizontal Boost - 0
  • Turning Vertical Boost - 0
  • Turning Boost Ramp Time - 0
  • ADS Look Horizontal Speed - 100
  • ADS Look Vertical Speed - 100
  • ADS Turning Horizontal Boost - 0
  • ADS Turning Vertical Boost - 0
  • ADS Turning Boost Ramp Time - 0
  • Look Dampening Time - 0
  • Look Input Curve - Linear
  • Right Stick Deadzone - 10%

Zen Studio M&K Settings

Next, you will need to open up Zen Studio and click the M&K Settings which is located at the top right of Zen Studio all the way to the right. The first thing to do once in M&K Settings is to assign the button mapping settings. This is a matter of personal preference though you will want to ensure that each button for the controller has at least one keyboard key or mouse key assigned to it. Each profile does have the ability for secondary binds along with 4 optional auxiliary profiles should you want custom settings for a specific scenario.

Binds for mouse and keyboard can be done with the mouse and keyboard connected to your PC, Zen, and even laptop keyboard. It is important to note though that should you want to either cancel or clear a bind you will need to use a keyboard connected to your PC or laptop keyboard. Using a keyboard connected to the Zen will not cancel or clear a bind.

To set a bind, double click the button you want to bind then press the key or mouse button you wish to use as the bind. Should you make a mistake and want to cancel a bind press and hold the Escape key on your keyboard. A bind can also be cleared by holding the Backspace key on your keyboard.

Next match the following settings

  • Tuning - Sensitivity 15.00
  • Tuning - X/Y Ratio 1.00
  • Tuning - Boost 0.00
  • Tuning - Smoothness 0
  • Translator - Deadzone Compensation X 13.00 (XBOX) 13.00 (PLAYSTATION)
  • Translator - Deadzone Compensation Y 13.00 (XBOX) 13.00 (PLAYSTATION)
  • Translator - Deadzone Shape Ellipse
  • Translator - Analog Stickize 142.00

The ballistic curve can be left as is. Should you want a more customized feel though we recommend going into a Creative Map such as an Aim Training map or your Creative Island to adjust the curve and test out movement. Below is a curve that many of our testers enjoyed. This allows for quick and smooth movement while also giving a nice boost to the in-game Aim Assist. The Tuning and Translator settings above can also be set by copying the appropriate code and then click paste in Zen Studio.

The above process will need to be done at least once for both the Hip and ADS profile. Auxiliary profiles are optional.

Once you have finished and got everything where you like it to be save the settings to your Zen by clicking the glowing checkmark in a circle on the left of the screen and you are all set. It is recommended to set up 2 auxiliary profiles and assign the activation for one your Switch Mode Button and the other your Edit Button that will be in use and set the curve to Default.

Should you want to do double movements after setting up your profile copy and paste the code below into a new GPC file, save then program to your Zen.

Instant Reset Trick - No GPC Required!

A popular mod in many GamePacks and scripts is Instant Reset / Insta Reset. This can be done in a few ways using the new M&K Settings. The easiest way though is simply clicking the Secondary tab then map the In-Game button for Reset and Confirm to the same button. Using a secondary bind also you to use the Primary binds to function like normal and the Secondary binds allow you to instantly reset a build using a separate keyboard or mouse key!
