USB
In this guide, we will provide you with step-by-step instructions on how to setup your console and controller with USB.
Do yourself a favor and watch this video just to see just how quick and easy it is. 👍
For those looking for a hassle-free experience, the MATCHED (USB) setup is by far the easiest. Swift and straightforward, it flawlessly pairs with PlayStation® 4, Xbox®, and Nintendo® Switch consoles, as well as their respective controllers. 🎮👌
If your console is a PlayStation® 5, you will need to follow a different guide. 👈
Connect Cronus Zen to a computer running Windows (PROG USB Port).
PS5: You will need to follow this different guide. 👈
PS4: Open Zen Studio > Device Panel > Set the output protocol to PLAYSTATION5/4.
XBOX: Open Zen Studio > Device Panel > Set the output protocol to XBOX ONE X/S.
SWITCH: Open Zen Studio > Device Panel > Set the output protocol to NINTENDO SWITCH. (See the Nintendo® Switch page for more settings).
Connect your Cronus Zen to your console using the CONSOLE/PC USB cable (the short USB cable is recommended). For this MATCHED example, we're using the Xbox® Series X console and an Xbox® Series X|S Controller.
Plug your controller into Zen's A1 USB port. After a few seconds the controller should power up and sync to the Cronus Zen.
Note: Having trouble syncing? Simply unplug the controller from the A1 port, tap Zen's reset button, wait 5 seconds 🕑 and plug it back in.
Before using any GamePacks or scripts, it is important that you first test your controller in a game to ensure all the buttons are working correctly.
The CROSSOVER setup supports PlayStation®, Xbox®, and Nintendo® Switch consoles. Just remember this simple rule: With CROSSOVER, the controller that matches your console (or AUTH controller) goes into A1. The controller you actually want to play with, that goes into A3.👌

Connect the Xbox controller to Zen's A1 USB port. It must always be connected while the CROSSOVER controller is in use. We call this the AUTH controller.
Connect the CROSSOVER controller to the A3 USB port.
Note: Having trouble syncing? Simply unplug the controllers from the A1 & A3 USB ports, tap Zen's reset button, wait 10 seconds 🕑 and plug them back in.
