Cronus Zen supports original Nintendo Wii, and most licensed third-party Wii controllers. They can all be connected to Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch consoles, including support for PC and Android gaming, all with full MOD & GPC scripting capabilities!
All special editions and variations of the official Nintendo Wii U Pro and Wii Remote (aka Wiimote) Controllers are compatible with Zen. Wii controllers are Bluetooth only (the Wii U Pro USB cable is for charging only).
Note: Connecting an unsupported controller can cause an E3 Error Code.

There are many "knock off" Wii controllers on the market. Some work with Zen, and some don't. As there are so many different serial numbers and brand names, it's definitely a potluck if it will work or not. Yes, you can use a Wii USB Sensor bar with a Wiimote Plus and Cronus Zen! Simply connect it to any USB power source and place it in optimal sight of your gaming area.
It works as a reference point for the Wiimote Plus, which has a camera on the front that is looking for the Infra-Red lights on the Sensor Bar, that is how it determines the Wiimote's location.
