This guide offers a deep dive into the world of Cronus GamePacks. But before you jump in, it's essential to understand the difference between GamePacks and Scripts. While both offer features to enhance your gaming, they vary in functionality, difficulty, and the level of support they offer.

📺 Video Demo

In this video, MaxADMIN guides you through every step including how to program, configure, and use any GamePack. The demo showcases the awesome Summary GamePack.

🤔 What Are GamePacks?

Whether you're new to the scene or a seasoned pro, GamePacks are the perfect solution for players who wish to use powerful MACROs ON DEMAND (aka M.O.D.s) but lack coding experience or don't want to deal with the complexity of scripts.

  • Free Expert M.O.D.s: Built by Cronus experts, GamePacks are ideal for both beginners and advanced users who want the latest M.O.D.s without coding knowledge.
  • Drag & Drop: In Zen Studio, you can quickly assign a GamePack to one of the eight available memory slots.
  • Easy Configuration: Each pack includes the exclusive GamePack Configuration Interface (aka GCI).
  • OLED Menu: You can set up and adjust all GamePack settings right on Zen's OLED screen, allowing for quick access to advanced features such as Anti-Recoil compensation or Aim Assist strength. No computer required!
  • The M.O.D. Library: Every major MACRO can be found in The M.O.D. Library, where they're all described in full detail, along with video and source code examples.
  • Regular Updates: There are on average 20+ GamePack updates every month. These usually include new features, new weapons, updated recoil patterns, bug fixes, community requests and so on.

🗨️ Community & Pro GamePacks

You may have noticed that there are two kinds of GamePacks in Zen Studio, COMMUNITY and [PRO]. Grab a coffee ☕, we'll explain....

🎯 Community GamePacks

Community Supported GamePacks (currently

available) are created by an expert team of developers, famous for the BEAM2.0 GamePacks. who are all extremely active in the Cronus Community. This is where registered Zen owners get access to dozens of private Forums and Discord support channels.

Community packs are also updated more regularly due to massive, around the clock community feedback. You can easily tell the difference between the Community and [PRO] GamePacks by the design of the memory slot images.

🏆 Great Support

With

community supported GamePacks available, there's plenty to explore. Each GamePack guide has an introduction section that directs you to the author for direct support, while connecting you with thousands of other users of the pack you're using.

Direct access to the author of the GamePack ensures a speedy resolution of any issues related to settings, bugs, or feature requests. It gives you a more personalized and efficient experience.

🚑 Is it Safe to Use?

As of May 12th, 2023, if a Community GamePack has a green check mark ✅ or ⭐ next to its name in the GamePack user guides, that means it has been updated and tested with the latest game patches with no warnings or errors on any console.

🖥️ Programming GamePacks

Managing and programming GamePacks with Zen Studio software is a breeze. You can program any GamePack to one of Zen's 8x memory slots.

1

Connect Zen from the PROG USB to a computer running Zen Studio.

Document image

2

Open Zen Studio and select the 'Programmer' tab.

3

Drag-and-drop any GamePack to a memory slot.

Each memory slot is up to 64k in size, to a maximum of 256k for all eight slots combined. Zen Studio will tell you if there is no more space left. For example, [BEAM] GamePacks like Apex and COD are huge so you will only be able to fit 5-6 GamePacks of that size).

4

When dragging a GamePack to one of Zen's memory slots, the GamePack Configuration Interface (GCI) will automatically appear. This special feature, exclusive to GamePacks, presents a list of M.O.D. options for easy customization. With the GCI, you can adjust settings, import recommended configurations, or even share your personal tweaks with the Cronus Community.

Some code heavy GamePacks might not display the full list of M.O.D.s in the GCI due to space constraints, but don't worry, every M.O.D. is fully accessible from Zen's OLED Menu.

5

Once you're happy with the GCI settings, click the 'Program' ▶️ button - this only takes about 20 seconds. Once finished, unplug all USB cables from the Zen.

6

Connect Zen to your console using the CONSOLE/PC USB, then tap the reset button and wait at least 10 seconds before connecting any controllers.

7

Press the P1 memory slot button to select which GamePack you want to use. If it's a Community Supported GamePack, hold LT/L2 then press the MENU/OPTIONS button on your controller to access the OLED menu.

You can also change memory slots remotely using your controller! Simply connect Zen to your computer using the PROG USB cable, open Zen Studio and select the 'Device' panel. It will automatically update the Zen as soon as you select one of the 3 available options.

📺 OLED Menu System

Cronus Zen's GamePack OLED Menu System is an innovative feature that enables the configuration and customization of various M.O.D.s through a user-friendly OLED interface.

These adjustments can be made without a PC, while in-game, in real-time, using a controller or keyboard, providing a seamless gaming experience.

Avoid enabling multiple M.O.D.s at the same time; it can compromise your controller's performance. Players often prefer using specific MODs that enhance their gameplay, such as Anti-Recoil, or Aim Assist, or both.

Start with one M.O.D. enabled at a time to determine its effect. Rapid Fire is an ideal starting point due to its quick setup and that it works with almost all FPS games.

♻️ Screensaver

Cronus Zen's OLED screen features a screensaver that activates after brief inactivity, guarding against screen burn. By default, it displays a 'snowing' effect, but with a community GamePack, it shifts to a 'Matrix' style.

To return to the main M.O.D. Menu, just press any button or key.

🤔 What About Scripts?

GamePacks and Scripts are both utilized when using M.O.D.s with video games, yet they differ significantly in terms of customization options, functionality, and difficulty.

GamePacks provide an expert, pre-configured solution, regularly updated with the latest weapons, recoil patterns, requested features, and bug fixes. The source code is not available for GamePacks.

Scripts on the other hand, are written in a C-based open-source code format, allowing for greater flexibility for more advanced users.

🧩 Source Code Benefits

The ability to access the source code gives more advanced players the power to fully customize their gaming experience. They do however require a certain level of technical expertise to use effectively. Players can select which specific features they want to use, such as Taylordrift21's advanced Aim Assist scripts that focuses solely on that one particular M.O.D.

For those interested in delving deeper into GPC development, we have created an advanced GPC Scripting Guide. It provides a comprehensive overview of GPC syntax, data types, and functions, as well as samples and advanced development techniques.

🔍 Scripts by Cronus?

You may be surprised to know that while the Cronus Zen device does provide the platform for GPC scripting, we don't actually provide any scripts other than examples you will find in The M.O.D. Library, or GPC Developer Guides Rather, they are created and shared freely by awesome members of the Cronus Community who have become experts in the Cronus GPC scripting language. These community members not only share their incredible knowledge freely, but they have also created a vast collection of scripts that cover a wide range of games and features.

Yes, that includes you 🫵 Every Cronus Zen owner has full access to upload scripts directly to the GPC library and share with over half a million other Cronus users!

🗨️ Cronus Community

We highly recommend exploring the Cronus Community as a source for free scripts and knowledge on GPC scripting. All verified script developers can be found in the following Cronus community platforms:

🤝 Trusted Developers

It's essential to source your Cronus Zen scripts from reputable developers for both safety and optimal gameplay.

Taylordrift21 tops the charts, especially with his standout ScottishTryHard script. Taylor is a community gem, truly the mac to our cheese. His scripts boast an intuitive OLED menu, direct support, and a treasure trove of resources on his Discord server.
