 There are unofficial workarounds available where you can use a Mac or Chromebook to run Zen Studio. 

A good quality internet connection is essential, or you won't be able to access many features, including the 

, Zen Marketplace, Cronus Community, firmware updates, and much more. A 

 compatible Wi-Fi is required when using the Zen LINK™.

M.O.D.s (Macros On Demand) are automated controller outputs, designed for quick use without any coding knowledge. 

MACROS

An SSID is the name of your Wi-Fi network shown when connecting devices. For Zen LINK™ setup, select the SSID for your 2.4GHz network. If your router splits 2.4GHz and 5GHz, choose the 2.4GHz SSID for proper connection.

Zen LINK™ supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi but not 5GHz during initial setup. Most routers combine both, making setup easy. If your router splits them, connect to the 2.4GHz network to ensure proper connection and functionality.

Cronus Zen™ firmware is the internal software that powers all features and mods. Keeping it updated ensures compatibility with the latest games, GamePacks, and accessories. Required for setup and performance improvements.

PS Remote Play® is required once to link Cronus Zen™ to a PS5®. After the initial connection, it’s no longer needed. This step enables full mod support and compatibility with PS5® games and controllers.

Zen LINK™ uses 2.4GHz Wi-Fi for broad compatibility. Most modems combine 2.4GHz and 5GHz, so setup is easy. If your modem splits them, connect your device to the 2.4GHz network when setting up ZenLINK™ for proper connection.

GamePacks

The PROG USB Port is located on the right side of the Cronus Zen. It connects the Zen to a Windows PC for programming, GamePack setup, and Zen Studio access. Older models use mini-USB; newer models use USB-C.

The CONSOLE/PC USB Port is located at the rear of the Cronus Zen. It outputs controller signals to your gaming system, and is also used for firmware updates. Older models use mini-USB; newer models use USB-C.
